Record time alongside the work
Link a time entry to the task you worked on. The client and project give the entry context, so the time spent in a planning meeting stays attached to the right piece of work.
Record hours while the work is still fresh in your mind. Separate time spent on different tasks rather than leaving a whole day of work under one vague entry.
Understand where project time goes
Task-based time entries help you understand the size of a job. Planning, implementation and revisions can be separate tasks within the same project. Their time entries show how the effort is distributed.
Recorded hours also help you plan similar work in the future. Use the time a task actually took to identify which stages need more room in your schedule. Time tracking still needs to follow what you have agreed with your client about scope and billing.
Use recorded time as the basis for invoicing
For hourly work, set an hourly rate on the task. The time logged against it forms the basis for invoicing. Review the entries and the task’s rate before putting the invoice together.
Nopsa also supports fixed task prices. In that case, the agreed task price is the basis for billing. Time entries can still help you understand how much effort the work required.

Can I invoice time recorded in Nopsa?
Yes. A task’s hourly rate and recorded time form the basis for hourly invoicing. Selected tasks can be brought into an invoice and sent to a connected accounting service. Check your plan’s features in the app.
